Paul characterizes the ministry of the New Covenant as more glorious than the ministry of the Old Covenant. One of the central distinctives of this new covenant ministry is spiritual transformation. Having turned to the Lord and beholding as in a mirror His glory, believers are being transformed into His image by the Spirit.
